I lead Redvolution Workshops and Talks for a variety of retreat centers such as The Omega Center, The Open Center, Mount Madonna Center, The Sophia Institute, Kripalu, Sacred Circles at the Washington Cathedral, as well as at Universities, churches, bookstores, bars, yoga studios, festivals, nightclubs and art galleries. I easily translate classic, powerful spiritual ideas and practices into fresh, modern parlance, sans woo-woo fluff, stuffy scholarship, or tired, self-help cliches (well, mostly), in order to show all types of people (from traditional church goers to yoga students to spiritually-jaded hipsters to Boomers and Gen Y’ers) how to recognize and creatively express their unique divine blueprint (redprint) with an open mind, open heart, discerning eye, incredible fashion sense and always with a devilish sense of humor.

Redvolution: Women Daring to Disturb the Universe (women only)
This firestarter gathering reintroduces spirituality to women in a style and lingo that fits their unique, modern, and often complicated lives. Based on a combustible cocktail from Sera’s The Red Book, we’ll explore what it means to (respectfully) mix and match ancient religious traditions and new spiritual beliefs in order to create a truly Redvolutionary life. The Red heart of this non-dogmatic workshop is to inspire all women to discover and create a more intimate and expressive relationship with their divine spark – through creative exercises, intention-setting, meditation, ritual, intuitive journaling, and provocative dialogue. Emphasis will be placed on trusting one’s unique path and becoming one’s own spiritual authority…not to mention creating some delicious, divine mischief along the way. After all, you’re not here to play small; you’re here to start fires.

What is a divine spark? How the hell do we ignite it? Why would we want to? When we ignite our divine sparks, when we tap into and act from our intuition and become our own spiritual authority, astonishing things happen, not the least of which is how we begin to make clearer, more empowered choices across the board – from finances to careers, relationships to the environment, food to sex, love to God – and therefore, not only transform our own lives, but help transform the world, too. Usually I feel like I pretty much know the gist of whatever it is they’re pushing, & so I listen to the talk, go home, do some research, think about it, & do a bit more research.
